We have been informed by Cheshire West & Chester Council of Cadent Gas proposals to work on A56 Chester Road, Helsby o/s the entrance to Tesco. The proposed traffic management setup is portable traffic signals and a left turn closure exiting onto the A56. This is to divert the medium pressure gas main due to development work commencing over the existing medium pressure gas line. The works are proposed for this Easter holidays to mitigate the disruption; the initial proposal was a 3-week duration.
