Runcorn and Helsby Parliamentary Constituency By-Election
On Thursday 1 May 2025 there will be a parliamentary by-election for a Member of Parliament for the Runcorn and Helsby constituency.
The (Acting) Returning Officer for the constituency is Halton Borough Council Chief Executive, Stephen Young. The role of the (A)RO is to ensure that the election is administered effectively and that, as a result, the experience of voters and those standing for election is a positive one.
A poll card will be sent to every registered voter in the constituency. This will include polling station details for those voters who do not have a postal or proxy vote in place.
