7. Review of VE Day 80 Celebrations

To review the VE Day 80 Celebrations.

To review the Freedom of Frodsham Award.

10. Approval of the Freedom of Frodsham expense items

To retrospectively approve the gift voucher purchased from Next Door for £250.00.

11. Update of the Food & Drink Festival

To receive an update of preparations for the Food and Drink Festival taking place on 14th June 2025.

12. Food & Drink Festival budget

(a) To note the budget for the Food & Drink Festival to be held on 14th June 2025 is £3,000.
(b) To consider whether to make a virement from the Frodsham Festival Event Budget (£30,000), due to be held in August 2025, to the Food & Drink Festival.

13. Food & Drink Festival expenses

(a) To note that 2 quotes have been received for the hire of a marquee: Quote A £1,014.00 and Quote B £1,399.00
(b) To note that the marquee supplier will need to have public liability insurance for a minimum of £10,000,000 and provide a risk assessment including: the maximum wind loadings of all demountable structures; detailed actions to be taken when wind speeds are at or near maximum. This is to comply with Cheshire West and Chester Council’s requirements as landowner.
(c) To note that a quotation has been received for hire of a PA system in the sum of £85.00.
(d) To note that an indicative quote of £635 has been received for provision of portable toilets including 5 portaloos and 1 accessible toilet.
(e) To note that a quote for 20 barriers has been requested from Blue Arrow Traffic Management.
(f) To note that various organisations have been asked to quote for waste management services at the event.
(g) To agree actions to be taken.

14. Confirmation of Food & Drink Festival demonstration programme

To confirm the Food & Drink Festival demonstration programme.

16. Frodsham Festival 2025

(a) To note that the Town Clerk has advised there is insufficient time to organise a major Frodsham Festival for August 2025. Accordingly, it is recommended that the committee begin planning for a festival in August 2026. The existing budget allocation of £30,000 can be earmarked within the 2026–2027 budget, allowing the Council adequate time to deliver a well-planned, successful, and memorable event for the town.
