Note: This site was the subject of an application submitted in February 2018 for “Conversion of farm building 1, 2 and 4 to create 3 dwellings, creation of first floor on building 1 and 2, demolition of farm building 3 and erection of one new dwelling in its place and new pitched roof on existing vehicle shed to be used as a car port.” This earlier application was considered by FTC Planning Committee on 22 Feb 18. The Committee had no objections subject to satisfactory access and egress onto Tarvin Road.
An application for “Demolition of existing buildings and erection of three new dwellings” was considered on 12 November 2018 and FTC Planning Committee objected due to:
· The visual impact of the proposed development
· The proposed dwellings are larger than those approved in application 18/00559/FUL and constitute over-development of the site
· The proposed dwellings do not retain the footprint of the existing agricultural buildings
· The dwelling types do not meet the needs identified in the Frodsham housing needs survey
· The proposed development does not constitute sustainable development and will generate additional traffic.
