As their year as Mayor and Mayoress of Frodsham enters its final few weeks, Cllr Alan Oulton and his wife Lorraine are still busy with events around Frodsham. Cllr Oulton says:
“Our PCSO Neil Flanagan organised a fantastic football tournament for local primary schools. It was very well attended, with Kingsley C P the winners and St Lukes the runners up. I had the pleasure of presenting the medals and the cup.
On Saturday 21st April we attended the open day at Chapelfields off Main Street. We enjoyed chatting to residents and their families. Later that day we attended Around the World in Eighty Days at St Laurences. We were accompanied by Michael and Katie the Junior Mayors and their families.
On Sunday 22nd I attended (again accompanied by the Junior Mayors) a special service to commemorate Able Seaman Leonard Ellams of Frodsham who gave his life in WW1 on 23rd April 1918, during a raid on Zeebrugge”.
