Work starts today, Monday 4 November, to extend the burial ground at the top of the site in Tarvin Road to provide an additional 100 burial plots.
It is anticipated that construction work will be completed by 16th December although this is dependent on the weather conditions. Final landscaping works will be carried out in the new year.
AJK Plant Hire Ltd have been appointed as contractors and they will be using a small section of the car park during the construction period. Works will be suspended in the event of a funeral. All efforts will be made to keep disruption to a minimum.
